Jordan M. has a diverse work background with experience in various technology and security roles.
Starting in 2000, Jordan M. worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at the National Security Agency, where they specialized in cybersecurity and led initiatives related to risk mitigation, vulnerability assessments, and security policy development.
In 2002, Jordan M. joined Intel Corporation as a Senior System Engineer Team Lead, managing a team responsible for data center operations support. Jordan provided leadership in systems engineering, service delivery, and resolving complex technical issues.
From 2004 to 2008, Jordan M. worked at IBM as a Service Delivery Manager, overseeing an IT Operations Department and leading projects such as data center migrations. Jordan managed a team of technical resources and ensured the efficient delivery of distributed systems engineering and administration services.
At Wells Fargo, Jordan M. served as a Systems Architect from 2008 to 2013. Jordan designed and delivered security and technology solutions for financial applications, including the deployment of the first Enterprise private hybrid cloud architecture. Jordan also provided executive advisory support and conducted systems architecture analysis.
From 2009 to 2021, Jordan M. held various roles at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer. Jordan started as an IT Technical Authority, where they led initiatives in governance, risk, and compliance. Jordan later became the Manager of IT Architecture, developing and delivering cloud and microservices technology strategies. Jordan M. then served as the Director of IT Operations, where they reenvisioned the DevOps and Platform Engineering Organization, leading a large team and managing a budget of $16MM. Their role culminated in their appointment as the Senior Manager of Cloud Security Operations & DevSecOps, where they established a cloud operations and DevSecOps capability within the cybersecurity department, modernizing IT controls and governance.
Most recently, Jordan M. joined Cyware as the Vice President of Security Technology in 2021.
Throughout their career, Jordan M. has demonstrated strong leadership and technical expertise in driving IT modernization, developing cloud strategies, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for organizations and customers.
Jordan M. has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Clemson University. In addition to their formal education, Jordan M. has completed professional industry training, courses, workshops, or seminars in various fields such as security, compliance, systems, software, hardware, database, and networking.
Jordan M. also holds several certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, and AWS Certified Solution Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, Jordan M. has certifications from Information Assurance Certification Review Board (IACRB), EC-Council, Scrum Alliance, GIAC Certifications, (ISC)², Microsoft, Red Hat, and The Open Group in various areas such as computer forensics, ethical hacking, scrum methodologies, cloud security automation, information systems security architecture, Microsoft systems engineering, Red Hat system administration, and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
It is worth noting that some of the certifications mentioned, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), are planned to be obtained in 2021, as indicated by "TBC 2021" in the certification names.
