Czexpats in Science is an independent non-profit organisation connecting Czech scientists abroad, researchers in Czechia and everyone who shares our vision of open, internationally connected and ambitious science.

Founded in 2018 by Czech researchers working abroad, we combine the energy of a grassroots community with the expertise of a trusted partner for research institutions, public authorities, companies and foundations.

We create opportunities for scientists to connect, share experience and collaborate across countries, disciplines and career stages. We support international mobility and return to Czechia, develop current and future research leaders, and bring international experience into discussions about how science in Czechia is managed, funded and developed.

Through our community, events, Map of Scientists, Collaboration Hub, Infoportal, career development activities, research and advocacy, we help turn knowledge and experience from around the world into practical progress for science in Czechia.
