Mark W.

Mark W. has over 20 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Mark started their career in 2001 as an Adviser Support at Inter-Alliance and worked there until 2003. Mark then joined The Clarkson Hill Group Plc as a Paraplanner from 2004 to 2007, and later transitioned to the role of IFA until 2010. Mark then joined Charles Derby as an IFA from 2010 to 2012. Mark then worked at Prudential Assurance as a Financial Services professional from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, they joined The Pensions Ombudsman as a Complaints Handler. Currently, Mark is the Head of Compliance at DP Pensions Ltd, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Compliance Manager at DP Pensions Ltd from 2014 to 2022.

Mark W. holds a Diploma (QCF4) in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) from the International Compliance Association, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, they earned a Diploma in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), specializing in Financial Advice, between 2001 and 2014. Mark also has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University London, completed from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they completed their A-Levels & GCSEs at Grammar School from 1993 to 1998.
