Pierre Sénécal

Pierre Sénécal has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. From 2008 to present, they have been working as a Lead Hardware / Embedded Firmware Engineer at D-BOX Technologies, where they design and modifies motion system electronic products used in home, simulators, and movie theatres. Pierre also participates in the definition of new products and their evolutions, as well as designing and modifying software drivers related to D-BOX products.

Prior to that, from 1998 to 2008, they worked as a Project Engineer at TECHNISERV AG, where they designed electronic products for industries such as railroad, industrial, biomedical, and military. During this time, they also conducted feasibility studies and participated in technical submissions for new contracts.

From 1994 to 1998, Pierre worked as an Engineer at VAPOR CANADA, focusing on the design of embedded electronic systems for the railroad industry. In this role, they also coordinated personnel and evaluated emerging technologies for use in new products.

Lastly, from 1989 to 1994, they worked as an Engineer at CENTRE DE TECHNOLOGIE NORANDA, specializing in the design of electronic equipment for the mine industry. Pierre supervised personnel and conducted a study on an underground transmission system using a very low frequency carrier (VLF).

Overall, Pierre Sénécal has a strong background in engineering, particularly in the design and modification of electronic products for various industries.

Pierre Sénécal completed their Collegate Study Diploma in Pure and Applied Science at CEGEP André-Grasset from 1982 to 1984. Pierre then pursued their Baccalaureate in engineering, specializing in electronic specialty, at Polytechnique Montréal from 1985 to 1989.
