Jay Yun

Jay Yun serves as the Technical Director at d-Matrix since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jay Yun was a Software Engineer and Technical Lead Manager at Cerebras Systems, where responsibilities included leading cross-team benchmark development and guiding a kernel library migration for next-generation architecture. Earlier experience at Qualcomm spanned from 2000 to 2018 in various roles, including GPU Compute Architect, where Jay Yun managed a team focused on innovative GPU applications in deep learning and video processing, and Video Quality and Preprocessing Lead, overseeing system designs for 3D camera technology. Jay Yun holds a PhD and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
