Michael Kim

Michael Kim is a Validation Engineer currently employed at d-Matrix since September 2025, with extensive prior experience at Marvell Technology in the same role from March 2021 to September 2025. Michael began the professional journey as a Teacher Assistant for Mathematics for Life Scientists at the University of California, Los Angeles from December 2019 to December 2020, before interning as a Hardware and Software IC Validation Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor in the summer of 2020. Previous roles include serving as an Instructor at Scholastic Success from August 2017 to September 2019, focusing on personal tutoring, and as a Biomedical Engineer at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, where the development of a playground sensor was undertaken. Additionally, during studies at The University of Texas at Dallas, Michael was a Student Mentor and Teaching Intern. Education credentials include a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's from The University of Texas at Dallas, complemented by the International Baccalaureate Diploma from North Hills Preparatory.
