Mikalai D.

Mikalai D. has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2003, they worked as a C++ developer for Hypersoft. In 2005, they moved on to become a C# developer for Qulix Systems. In 2008, they worked as both a Software Developer/Owner for Imappl and a Computer Vision Intern for SeeByte. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer for Jumio Inc. During this time, they worked with Facebook engineers to create Netswipe SDK for on-device image recognition. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Principal Engineer for Wave Computing, where they developed machine learning and deep neural network algorithms for dataflow computing devices. Finally, from 2017 to 2022, they were a Principal Member of Technical Staff for AMD.

Mikalai D. has a Master's Degree in Radiophysics and Electronics from Belaruski Dziarzhauny Universitet and an MSc in Computer Vision and Robotics from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK. Mikalai also completed an Artificial Intelligence course at Stanford University in 2011. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Data Analysis (via Coursera, by Jeff Leek, Johns Hopkins University in March 2013), Neural Networks for Machine Learning (via Coursera, by Geoffrey Hinton, University of Toronto in November 2012), and Algorithms: Design and Analysis I, II (via Coursera, by Tim Roughgarden, Stanford University in March 2012).
