Robert Kimball is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software design and implementation, particularly in machine learning and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at d-Matrix since March 2024, Robert previously held the position of Distinguished Engineer at OctoML, where significant contributions included adding TVM support to Nvidia's Triton Inference Server. Prior to that, Robert was an Algorithm Engineer at Intel Corporation, leading efforts in developing the nGraph graph compiler. Additionally, experience at Nervana involved designing the Aeon Dataloader, while roles at Qualcomm spanned from Computational Photography to neuromorphic computing, contributing to various high-level network description models and mobile software. Robert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from Westmont College.
