Chris Roth has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and consulting. Chris started their career as an Application Engineer and later became a Technology Evangelist at Visio Corporation from 1992 to 2000. Chris then worked at DataAssist as a Senior Developer before moving on to become an Author at QUE Publishing, where they wrote a book on Microsoft Visio.
In 2002, Chris joined D-Tools Inc. as a Contract Developer and later became a Software Developer. Chris was responsible for creating an online, Visio-like, web-based drawing component using TypeScript and D3.js. Chris also provided ongoing support for d-Tool's SI product and developed SmartShapes, automation tools, and proof-of-concept features.
