D-Wave Systems
Murray Thom has extensive work experience in the quantum computing field, starting as a Research Engineer at D-Wave in 2002 and progressing to various Vice President roles in product management, software, and quantum technology evangelism until 2024. Additionally, they served as a Board Member for the Digital Technology Supercluster and the Quantum Algorithms Institute from 2020 to 2022. Their career began with a Coop position at The University of British Columbia in 2001.
Murray Thom earned a BASc degree in Electrical Engineering and Honors Physics from The University of British Columbia, completing their studies from 1997 to 2002.
