Dave Bruce

Dave Bruce is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the design and management of precision mechanical systems. Currently serving as Principal Mechanical Engineer at D-Wave Systems Inc. since April 2008, Dave leads the mechanical engineering team focused on low magnetic systems for cryogenic applications and oversees computer system assembly at customer sites. Prior to this role, Dave held a position at Eastman Kodak from January 2005 to March 2008, specializing in the design consultation of printing plate plotting engines, and contributed to the development of innovative casting designs at Creo from November 1997 to December 2004. Dave Bruce earned a BEng with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria between 1992 and 1997.
