Bob Glasgow

SVP of Trade & Commercialization at D2 Consulting

Since 1985, Mr. Glasgow has held a variety of roles in the pharmaceutical industry. His primary focus and expertise is developing strategy and implementing solutions for commercial drug launches, particularly for specialty pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining D2, Mr. Glasgow was a a Senior Vice President at AmerisourceBergen. Prior, he spent 11 years with FoxMeyer, now part of McKesson, and was previously the Chief Operating Officer for a physician office software and medical claims business, improving processes in primary care and specialty physicians’ offices. He has held roles in finance and general management, including General Manager of a pharmaceutical wholesaler in Puerto Rico.

Mr. Glasgow has worked with over 145 companies to assist in commercialization. His experience includes: product launch, patient access programs, specialty pharmacy networks, specialty and wholesale distribution, third party logistics, hub models, and retail pharmacies. Recently he has worked with manufacturers expanding their commercial efforts outside the United States, including Europe, Canada and elsewhere.

Mr. Glasgow was a leader in pioneering and negotiating “fee for service” for specialty and wholesale distribution. This innovation (a new service offering to biotech and pharmaceutical companies) included creating processes to track performance-to-target metrics. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Mr. Glasgow is often sought out for his insight on future trends.

While pharmaceuticals are Mr. Glasgow’s main focus, he borrows from a broad-based background as a CPA/management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and extensive international business experience. He completed his undergraduate work at Penn State University and earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is involved with several non-profit organizations in his hometown of Dallas, Texas.
