Jim Taylor

Mr. Taylor has over 30 years’ experience in pharmacy and pharmacy operations. He attended Ohio Northern University receiving a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration focusing on marketing and management. He also received a Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University in Pharmaceutical Administration.

Prior to joining D2, Mr. Taylor was Director of Pharmacy and Fulfillment for both the specialty pharmacy and mail order pharmacy operations at Allscripts Pharmacy (CVS ProCare) and with Bioscrip Pharmacy. During his time at both Allscripts and Bioscrip, he had responsibility for the management and oversight of the Columbus pharmacy’s operations and clinical programs for both the mail order and specialty pharmacy divisions. Mr. Taylor also spent a decade in the long-term care pharmacy environment as Vice President of Pharmacy Operations at APG as well as Director of Business Operations for Remedi SeniorCare where his focus was on pharmacy automation and pharmacy informatics. Along with the technology responsibilities, he was also responsible for project management of large client onboardings and new pharmacy buildouts, operational policy and procedure management, and training and implementation of pharmacy automation in the long-term care pharmacies. Mr. Taylor also spent a portion of his career having operational oversight of an FDA-regulated, cGMP-compliant hospital medication repackaging facility.
