John Taylor is a seasoned Project Planner with extensive experience in the railway construction sector. Currently serving D2 Rail since February 2013, John is involved in the Transpennine Route Upgrade project, previously holding a significant role as a Construction Planner for the Northern Hub Alliance, where expertise in project access strategy and multi-disciplinary project management was showcased. Prior experience includes positions at Balfour Beatty Rail, where John contributed as an Operations Support professional and as P-Way Section Manager, demonstrating capabilities in tender support and team leadership for complex construction planning. Early career experience includes a role as a Track Geometry Design Engineer at Network Rail and as a P-Way Engineer at Balfour Beatty Rail. John holds an HND in Civil Engineering from the University of East Anglia.
