Robert Mather has diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Robert is currently working at D2S, Inc. as a Lead Engineer, where they are responsible for the development and delivery of a mask design correction system. This system utilizes a GPU-accelerated compute cluster and a large C++/CUDA codebase. Prior to this role, Robert worked as a Software Engineer at the same company, contributing to various GPU-accelerated software products and platforms for semiconductor design.
Before joining D2S, Robert co-founded MuPay in 2018, where they served as the Co-Founder and Lead Developer until 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Tech, product, and IP consultant for a Public Benefit Corporation that was in stealth mode during their tenure from 2017 to 2020.
In 2016, Robert co-founded Busker.fm and served as the Co-Founder and Lead Developer until 2017. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at Patronpath, LLC, where they implemented a self-updating POS integration client for online ordering services in the restaurant industry.
Robert's earlier work experience includes being a Co-Founder, Developer, and Investor at Rising Green, an online job search platform for students with an environmental focus, from 2011 to 2013. Robert also worked as a Supply Chain and Logistics Consultant at IBM Global Business Services in 2011-2012.
Furthermore, Robert had roles as an Academic Tutor at Varsity Tutors LLC in 2010-2011, and as a Teaching Assistant for Management Science at Olin Business School in 2011. Robert began their career as a Market Analysis Intern at Towle & Co. in 2007.
