Neal Eckhaus

Neal Eckhaus has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Neal recently joined D3 Engineering as a Technical Project Lead in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology starting from December 2011. In the same year, they also founded their own consultancy firm, Neal Eckhaus Consulting LLC, where they served as the President.

Before starting their consultancy firm, Neal worked at RailComm as an Engineer from December 2012 to October 2021. Neal also has a significant tenure at Eastman Kodak Company, where they served as the Chief Engineer from an unspecified start date until August 2011. Additionally, they had a brief stint as a Development Engineer at General Railway Signal in 1994.

Neal's early career includes a role as a Development Engineer at Rochester Instrument Systems, Inc. from an unspecified start date until 1994. During this time, they headed various projects, including the development of the company's first smart two-wire temperature transmitter and its burn-in, test, and calibration fixture. Neal also played a key role in developing the handheld configurator for the smart transmitter using structured analysis and design techniques.

Neal Eckhaus earned a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
