Tom Mayo

Tom Mayo has a variety of work experience in the technology industry. Tom is currently working at D3 as the Lead Product Line Manager, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Product Manager - Spatial Sensors at D3 from June 2019 to June 2023, and as a Systems Engineer from June 2017 to June 2019.

Before joining D3, Tom worked at GE MDS, where they held the position of Senior Systems Project Manager from February 2015 to June 2017, and as a Program Manager from January 2007 to February 2015.

Their career started at Microwave Data Systems in May 1997, where they worked as a Principal Engineer until January 2007.

Prior to their roles in the technology industry, Tom worked at General Dynamics Defense Systems starting in 1991. Tom began as a Co-op and Edison Engineer before becoming a Senior Development Engineer. Tom had experience in firmware, analog and digital hardware, systems, and digital hardware before transitioning to radio engineering in 1997.

Tom Mayo attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Tom later pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, from 1992 to 1995.
