Kengo Ito

Kengo Ito is a Founder at D4V. He founded venture capital firm Genuine Startups in 2013 and as CEO he invested in more than fifty seed-stage companies. Before Genuine Startups, Mr. Ito served as Chief Accelerator at Movida Japan where he established a Seed Acceleration Program and provided hands-on support to more than 300 startups. His startup and investment experience also includes serving as CEO of MetaCast, a video solution provider, and leading venture investment and business development at Mitsui Comtek in the US and Mitsui & Co. Mr. Ito serves as committee members at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). He holds an MS and BS in Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
