Ryan Newson

Ryan Newson has worked as a Creative Director at D6 Inc. since February 2016. Prior to that, they were a Freelance Designer Engineer at IRBN in 2015. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Preparator at the Museum of Contemporary Craft. In 2014, Ryan worked on several freelance projects, including Partnered Project :: Lighting Designer at Rejuvenation, Freelance Design Engineer at Nike, and Freelance Storyboard Artist at Second Story Interactive Studios. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Model Maker at Applied Merchandising Concepts, and from 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Design Engineer at Bridge Metal Industries LLC.

Ryan Newson completed their Bachelor's Degree in Furniture Making / Industrial and Product Design at the College for Creative Studies from 2004 to 2009. Ryan then pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial and Product Design at the Pacific Northwest College of Art from 2013 to 2015.
