Irfan Bashir

Irfan Bashir Shah is an accomplished social entrepreneur with extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles across various organizations. As Co-Founder and CEO of DaanVeda since May 2024, Irfan oversees product development, sales, marketing, and fundraising initiatives. Previously, Irfan served as Fundraising Manager at Bhumi, where significant social impact was achieved through fundraising and support for grassroots NGOs. Irfan co-founded Project Nile, contributing to research and client engagement, and was involved in launching CrowdHive, a crowdfunding platform for creators and small businesses. Additional roles include Editorial Coordinator at Kashmir Scan News Magazine, Executive in Content and Strategy at Ketto, and Digital Media Specialist at the University of Rochester. Irfan co-founded the Federation for Peace and Development, focusing on educational initiatives for underprivileged youth, and holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Economics from the University of Rochester.
