Mavis Armah has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Mavis started their career in 1995 as a Sports Reporter at Daily Times Nigeria, where they covered press conferences and reported on sports events. In 1996, they joined DAAR Communications Plc as a Studio Coordinator at RayPower 100.5FM, where they hosted radio shows and ensured adherence to studio policies. After that, they worked as a Media Consultant at DE Beam (Mass) Communication - De Beam Magazine, where they sourced adverts and sponsorship, supervised marketing activities, and provided client services. Mavis then returned to DAAR Communications Plc and took on various roles, including Programmes Manager at AIT Network Channel and Acting Head of Department at AIT Abuja Channel. Finally, they worked as a Digital Transmission Officer at Daarsat Channel, where they conducted training of staff, operated the master control room, encoded and ingested content, and provided emergency repairs.
