DaddyButter was founded by Khalil Jackson, whose inspiration emerged on December 2, 2013, with the birth of his daughter Lilah. Fatherhood opened his eyes to the pressures many communities, particularly within Black culture, face when navigating Western beauty standards. While celebrating the natural beauty of his daughters Lilah and Kalah, Jackson also saw how common it was for people to feel compelled to rely on artificial hair or harsh chemical treatments to fit a narrow definition of “beautiful.” Determined to give his daughters a healthier example, he began the journey that led to DaddyButter.

DaddyButter is a plant-based line of natural hair and skin products, each crafted with a different nutrient-rich butter and blended with essential oils. What began as Jackson’s personal mission to create safe, trustworthy products for his own family grew into a three-year process of research, testing, and refining formulas using Shea butter, coconut-derived ingredients, and other restorative natural butters. The result is a collection designed to nourish, protect, and enhance natural beauty for people of all backgrounds.

Rooted in authenticity and wellness, DaddyButter encourages individuals to embrace ingredients that support healthy hair and skin while honoring their natural features.
