Daewon Media Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based entertainment company best known for building and growing original IPs across animation, characters, and consumer products.

Founded in 1977, Daewon Media has long been part of Korea’s animation and publishing landscape. In recent years, the company has been placing a stronger focus on developing homegrown franchises with global potential, combining content production with licensing and merchandising.

Two of Daewon Media’s key original IPs are:

※ MUZIK TIGER
A character brand that resonates strongly with young adults through humor and relatable everyday moments. MUZIK TIGER has established a solid merchandising presence in Korea and Japan and continues to explore new collaborations and overseas opportunities.

※ ARMORED SAURUS
An action-adventure franchise that blends dinosaurs with armored technology. Developed as a VFX-based live-action series, ARMORED SAURUS is expanding as a kids and family franchise through content, toys, and licensing, with an eye on global markets.

Daewon Media works across the full IP value chain—from original planning and production to publishing, distribution, licensing, and partnerships—aiming to grow long-term franchises rather than one-off titles.

With a clear focus on original IP and collaboration, Daewon Media continues to look for partners who share the same interest in building stories and brands that travel well across borders.
