Xiao Ma, PhD, PMP, is a Design for Six Sigma certified mechanical engineer currently serving as the System Owner at DAF Trucks NV, overseeing the Power Cylinder Unit for heavy-duty engine platforms. With a robust background in R&D, product development, and quality assurance, Xiao's expertise includes tribology and material science applied to complex machine elements. Previously, Xiao completed a PhD at the University of Twente, focusing on surface defects in aluminum extrusion, and has held key engineering roles at DAF Trucks NV and Punch Powertrain. Additionally, Xiao possesses strong data analysis skills and a passion for continuous learning in the fields of tribology and powertrain design.
