Ryan Manafe

Ryan Manafe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ryan began their career as a Project Intern at Accenture in 2012 and then served as a Director at PT Visi Integra from December 2012 to July 2013. Ryan later joined McKinsey & Company, where they worked as a Business Analyst Intern from August 2013 to October 2013. Ryan then returned to McKinsey & Company as a Business Strategy Analyst from June 2014 to October 2014, and subsequently as a Consultant from November 2014 to June 2016.

In 2016, Ryan co-founded PT Surya Utama Nuansa (PT SUN), a company focused on addressing the low electrification rate in Indonesia by harnessing the power of the sun. Ryan served as the Co-Founder and CEO of PT SUN from July 2016 to November 2019. During this time, Ryan worked towards bridging the digital divide faced by young entrepreneurs in developing countries through their role as an eFounders Fellow at UNCTAD, an initiative in collaboration with Alibaba Group.

In 2019, Ryan founded Dagangan, where they currently hold the position of CEO & Co-Founder. Ryan is also an Official Member of the Forbes Business Council since November 2022. Additionally, Ryan serves as an Advisor at Antler, providing valuable guidance to startup founders worldwide. Furthermore, Ryan has also taken on the role of a Preacher at Hope Of God (HOG) Movement since January 2021.

Ryan Manafe attended SMA Taruna Nusantara, where they pursued a Senior High School education with a focus on Military and Strategic Leadership. After completing high school, they went on to enroll at the University of Indonesia for their undergraduate studies. Here, Ryan pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree, specializing in Industrial Engineering. Furthering their education, Ryan then pursued a Master of Management (MM) degree at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, concentrating on Finance, General.
