Aida A. Essaid is a dedicated advocate for social change with over 15 years of experience in non-profits and research. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID Jordan Himaya Activity, Aida promotes gender and social justice, particularly in the context of Palestine and Jordan. Previously, Aida held leadership roles at Taawon and the King Hussein Foundation, focusing on research and advocacy efforts to improve the lives of marginalized communities. Aida has authored several publications on political issues in Palestine and serves on various advisory boards, including NatCen International and the Arab Foundations Forum. Aida earned a PhD in Politics from the University of Exeter and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
