Asmare Melesse is an M&E professional with over two decades of experience in the international development sector, specializing in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning for projects focusing on food security, agricultural development, and sustainable practices. They have held various positions, including M&E Specialist at USAID-FINTRAC and MEL Director at Fintrac Inc, where they led the development of M&E plans and coordinated performance monitoring. Asmare's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Master of Arts in Rural Development. Currently, Asmare serves as the MEL Systems Lead at DAI, where they oversee the development and implementation of MEL strategies.
