Cathy Shaw

Cathy Shaw is a seasoned professional in international development, currently serving as the Director and Head of Evidence, Learning and Technical Assistance Facilities at DAI since October 2010. In this role, Cathy oversees a specialist team focused on integrating research and technical assistance for international aid programming. As Co-Director of the Resilience Team at DAI Global UK Ltd, Cathy manages innovative technical assistance and learning services aimed at strengthening resilience in crisis situations. Previously, Cathy held various positions at DAI, including Project Director and Principal Consultant, contributing to significant programs in Nigeria and Kenya. Prior experience includes roles at HTSPE, where Cathy managed UK government-funded non-proliferation programs, and a research position at the University of Sussex. Cathy obtained a Master of Arts degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and another in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Sussex.
