Daniel Schmidt

Daniel Schmidt serves as the Deputy General Counsel at DAI since November 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at ZS from May 2019 to November 2021. Daniel's extensive experience at DAI includes roles such as Associate General Counsel and various positions within the Office of General Counsel from May 2012 to May 2019. Prior to DAI, Daniel worked as a Student Observer at the US Securities and Exchange Commission and held law clerk positions at Melehy & Associates, LLC. Additionally, Daniel has experience as an Internal Auditor at Global Computer Enterprises and as a Financial Editor at Evalueserve. Daniel obtained a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School from 2010 to 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics from Vanderbilt University from 2004 to 2007.
