James Toone

James Toone is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of leadership experience spanning Asia and Africa, specializing in ESG, governance, stakeholder engagement, and business development. They have served in various influential roles, including as a Deputy Ambassador at the British Embassy in Laos and as a Governance Adviser for the Department for International Development (DFID), where they managed multi-million-pound programs. As Head of Projects at the Environmental Investigation Agency, James leads global campaigns and is actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization.
