Madel Montejo

Madel Montejo has twenty-five years of experience in national and international development organizations, specializing in participatory and gender-transformative monitoring and evaluation (M&E), project design, implementation, knowledge management, and research. With seventeen years in M&E, they have focused on women's economic empowerment and gender in agricultural value chains, and have integrated gender equality in humanitarian and development contexts for eleven years. Madel currently holds the position of MEL & KM Manager at DAI Global LLC and serves as an Independent Consultant, providing expertise to various clients on gender equality and social inclusion. They have been recognized for their contributions through awards and conference presentations, including the 15th European Evaluation Biennial Conference in 2024. Madel holds a BA in Journalism and an MA in Women and Development from the University of the Philippines.
