Mark Pedersen

Mark Pedersen is a Senior Principal in Strategic Communications at DAI, directing communications for the Mastercard Strive USA philanthropy program since April 2023. Previously, Mark held senior managerial roles at Dalberg from April 2018 to March 2023, where responsibilities included leading global strategic communications, managing a team, and developing thought leadership. Mark co-founded Frogtek, a fintech company, serving as Chief Financial Officer from 2009 to 2018, successfully expanding its operations globally and generating significant revenue. Early career experiences include consulting at Monitor Group, launching Agora Partnerships, and roles at NESsT, Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, and U.S. News & World Report. Mark holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MA in Economic and Political Development from Columbia SIPA, and a BA in Biology from Brown University.
