Daika Wood has developed a new, 100% natural, industrial material. The product is composed of entirely raw and nontoxic materials (no plastic or petroleum-based ingredients), and shredded-wood waste. Currently, we have an initial proof-of-concept in industrial manufacturing processes. From this stage, our resulting products retain the unique properties of wood such as warmth, sense, and acoustics, and can even be processed as regular wood. We have targeted indoor design, like wall panels and furniture, as well as construction materials, as the first markets we are looking to saturate. By using and compressing wood waste, rather than whole wood units, for industrial purposes, Daika Wood is trailblazing sustainable wood architectural design.
