Richard Mahan

Richard Mahan has had an extensive and varied work experience in the advertising industry. Richard has held several high-level positions at different companies throughout their career. Richard started as a Senior Art Director at Ogilvy&Mather in 1978. Richard then worked as an EVP Group Creative Director at Backer Spielvogel from 1982 to 1987, and later at Backer Spielvogel Bates (NY) from 1987 to 1990. Richard then joined BBD0 as a Senior VP Creative Director from 1990 to 1995. After that, they worked at Wells BDDP as an EVP Managing Partner/Creative Director from 1995 to 1998. In 2000, they joined McCann Erickson as an EVP Executive Creative Director and worked there until 2007. Richard then founded their own company, Tactic, where they served as the CEO/Creative Director from 2007 to 2010. Richard later returned to McCann Erickson as an ECD from 2010 to 2012. Most recently, they have been employed at Dailey & Associates as an EVP/ECD. Overall, Richard Mahan has a strong background in creative leadership roles in the advertising industry.

Richard Mahan attended Pratt Institute from 1976 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Advertising Design.
