Daniel Chai

Daniel Chai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community writing, event production, and marketing. Currently serving as a Community and Events Writer for Daily Hive since September 2020, Daniel focuses on reporting community-based stories and events across Canada. As the Co-Founder and Producer of The Fictionals Comedy Co. since 2010, Daniel has played a key role in marketing and outreach for this award-winning improv company. Previous roles include Tech Host at Elevate Inclusion Strategies, where Daniel supported diversity and inclusion training, and various positions in events and marketing within organizations such as Vancouver TheatreSports League and Bell. Daniel Chai holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and has a solid background in integrated marketing communications.
