Amir Muhammad

Amir Muhammad is a seasoned journalist and consultant with extensive experience in various roles within the media and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as a Consultant for Democracy International since February 2024, Amir previously held a consultant and information technology consultant position within the same organization, contributing to USAID's Promoting Peace and Justice program in Bangladesh. Amir has been a multi-platform journalist at Daily Ittefaq since March 2010, showcasing strong editorial judgment and proficiency in digital media. Other notable roles include Facilitator at the Institute for Environment and Development, Training Assistant at the Journalism Training and Research Initiative, and Staff Reporter positions at Daily Jaijaidin and Amader Shomoy. Amir holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the National University of Bangladesh.
