Sergio Florez

Sergio Florez has a wide range of work experience. In 2009, they began working as a Math Tutor at the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira. In 2012, they started working as a Frontend and Backend Web Developer at the same university. In 2014, they became Technical Lead and Executive at Rocka - Venture Builder. In 2018, they began working as a Full Stack Developer at Bambú - Meditación y Mindfulness. Since 2016, they have been a Guest Speaker at conferences, seminars and workshops. Most recently, in 2020, they became Cofounder & CTO at DailyBot.

Sergio Florez graduated with a BSc in Computer Science from Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira in 2014. Sergio then obtained several certifications from various institutions, such as Platzi, Udemy, and Mejorando.la, between 2017 and 2018. In 2017, they also attended the Seminario Tendencias Tecnológicas para Lograr una Ventaja Competitiva Regional at Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira. In 2019, they joined Y Combinator, and in 2021 they earned an MSc in Computer Science with a focus in Data Science from Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira.
