Daniel Benson

Co-Founder and CTO at Dailyvest

Daniel Benson began their career as a Software Engineer at United Technologies in 1983. In 1993, they co-founded Viga Technologies, becoming its CTO and developing desktop and WEB financial planning applications for the financial services industry. In 1999, they were hired by Thomson Reuters as the Thomson Weisebeger Viga division software development manager, fulfilling a 3 year earn out period commitment and integrating Viga retirement planning software into existing Wiesenberger applications for financial advisors. In 2001, they co-founded dailyVest, focusing on direct connections to financial record-keeping systems to produce useful portfolio analytics including personal rate of returns and "Plan level" analysis.

Daniel Benson attended Northern Arizona University from 1981-1982 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
