Michele Lorusso is a Senior Composite Design Engineer at Dallara, with a career spanning from January 2018 to the present. Responsibilities include studying and designing composite components and assemblies for the aerospace and defense, motorsport, and automotive sectors, utilizing solid and surface modeling, 2D drawing, and generating 2D/3D plybooks. Prior experience includes a research fellowship at Politecnico di Bari focused on fluid machines, as well as an internship at GE Oil & Gas where procedures for calculating NPSH of centrifugal pumps through CFD simulations were developed. Michele holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, completed in November 2016.
