Simone Melchiorre

Simone Melchiorre is an experienced aerodynamicist with a strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and aerodynamics, currently employed at Dallara since December 2020. Previously, Simone held the role of CFD-R&D Engineer at Dallara from December 2019 to October 2020, focusing on the development of a methodology for CFD simulation related to LMP2 racing cars and contributing to software development in Python. Prior experience includes serving as the Aerodynamics Division Manager and Driver for the UniBo Motorsport - Formula SAE Team at the University of Bologna, where responsibilities included the development and management of a CFD simulation methodology. Simone holds two degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, obtained in 2020 and 2017.
