Daniel Chen

Daniel Chen is the Co-Founder and COO at Daloopa, an AI-driven startup that is innovating the financial industry and beyond through faster and more accurate data extraction. Prior to Daloopa, Daniel worked as a software engineer at Microsoft on the Azure team where they did research on distributed systems and co-authored three patents related to distributed storage technology. Daniel also worked as a researcher at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU where they published and presented "Giza: Erasure Coding Objects across Global Data Centers" at USENIX ATC '17. Daniel began their career as a software engineer at Knewton, working on the consumer education platform team.

Daniel Chen attended New York University from 2011 to 2016, taking a gap year in 2015-2016 to work at various start ups. Daniel earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
