Romain Devooght

Romain DEVOOGHT is an experienced professional in textile engineering, currently serving as Head of Innovation R&D at Damart since June 2023 after previous roles that include Innovation R&D Engineer. Romain's background includes positions as Ingénieur recherche/développement at BETTINA SAM and INDUO®, where key projects involved studying parameters influencing the water repellence of cotton knits and optimizing stain-resistant formulations. Romain also has experience in quality management at Camaieu, focusing on pilling tests, and contributed to research on thermal comfort for compression socks at Universidade do Minho. Romain holds an engineer's degree in textile engineering from ENSAIT, complemented by a solid academic foundation in physical sciences and biology.
