Andreas Hermann

Andreas Hermann is an experienced Robotics Engineering Manager currently serving as the Abteilungsleiter Steuerungen at DAMBACH Lagersysteme GmbH & Co. KG. With a strong background in industrial automation, they previously held positions at KUKA as a Diploma Student and FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik as a Research Scientist, where they contributed to various robotics projects and earned a PhD in GPU-based high performance collision detection. Andreas also gained valuable IT experience in roles at Arthen Kommunikation GmbH and IAT - Dr. Dickgießer Assekuranz OHG, and they run a web design business specializing in front- and backend programming. They hold a Dr.-Ing. in Robotics Motion Planning, Parallel Programming, and 3D Collision Detection from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
