Pat Ryan is the food pantry coordinator at Damien Center. Pat previously worked as a server at Yolk and as office and catering manager at Weber Grill Restaurant.

Ryan began their career in the restaurant industry in 2013 as office and catering manager at Weber Grill Restaurant. In this role, they were responsible for sales and marketing, catering, and office management. Pat was able to establish a strong client base through their networking strategies and created unique experiences that exceeded customer expectations.

In 2018, Ryan transitioned to a role as a server at Yolk. In this fast-paced environment, they were responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience and ensuring satisfaction with all levels of hospitality. Pat was able to multi-task multiple duties and responsibilities while maintaining a sense of urgency.

Ryan’s experience in the restaurant industry has prepared their well for their current role as food pantry coordinator at Damien Center. In this role, they are responsible for managing the food pantry and overseeing all operations. Pat is committed to providing access to healthy food for all members of the community.

Pat Ryan's educational career includes a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts - Arts & Humanities with minors in Communications, Tourism/Hospitality Management, and Music from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, a Field in Music (Vocal), Theater from Ball State University, and a Field in Hospitality Administration/Beverage Management from Ivy Tech Community College. Pat Ryan also has Certification from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in Certificate of Fundraising Management, Planned Giving - Getting the Proper Start, Developing Major Gifts, Developing Annual Sustainability, Fundraising For Small Nonprofits, and Principles & Techniques of Fundraising.
