Ester Valverde

Ester Valverde serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Damm since January 2021, focusing on leading the cybersecurity sector and aligning information security strategies with business objectives. Prior experience includes a role in information security at Servihabitat from March 2019 to January 2021, where responsibilities involved defining strategies and updating security policies for ISO 27001 certification. Ester’s background also includes positions as a Network & Security Engineer at Cuatrecasas, where the development and implementation of IT systems were key, and as a Technical Engineer at UPCnet, Bull Information Systems, and Indra, where extensive technical skills in network management, incident resolution, and infrastructure maintenance were honed. Ester holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and an Engineer's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Escola Universitaria Politecnica de Mataro.
