Jon Hughes

Jon Hughes has extensive work experience in the bunkering and trading industry. Jon began their career in 2003 at Yuppie Chef, where they worked in sales and logistics until 2006. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Bunker Trader at South African Bunker Trading. In 2013, they joined South African Bunkering and Trading as Managing Director, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they are the Managing Director at Dan-Bunkering, starting from May 2022.

Jon Hughes attended St Peter's Preparatory School from 1986 to 1994. Jon then went on to Hilton College, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. In 2000, Jon enrolled at the University of Cape Town, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English. Jon completed their undergraduate education in 2004.
