Albert James

Albert James has extensive experience in the field of database administration. Albert started their career in 2008 as a Junior Database Administrator at Jenkins Consulting, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they gained experience in database management and troubleshooting.

In 2011, they joined the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an Oracle Database Administrator. Albert was involved in managing and maintaining Oracle databases until 2016.

In 2016, Albert James joined ABSC (Absolute Business Solutions Corp.) as a Junior Database Administrator. Here, they were responsible for tasks such as performance monitoring, SQL Server installations and upgrades, database backups and restoration, and server error troubleshooting. Albert also had experience with Windows Clusters, High Availability Groups, data migration, and working with SharePoint.

Since 2019, Albert James has been working at DAn Solutions, Inc. as a System Engineer. Here, they provided 24/7 on-call production support and managed over 250 Production SQL Servers in Virtual Environments. Albert also had experience with SQL Server installation, configuration, and migration, as well as applying service packs and security fixes.

Overall, Albert James has a strong background in database administration, with experience in both Oracle and SQL Server environments. Albert has a deep understanding of database management, troubleshooting, and working with various tools and technologies.

Albert James attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore from 2002 to 2004, where they studied Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Albert did not obtain a degree. In addition to their educational background, Albert James has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate from Microsoft, Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Associate from Oracle, Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer - JPN from Oracle, and CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
