Michael Buckner is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Danaher Corporation since October 2021, Michael previously held various senior legal positions at GE from July 2005 to October 2021, including Vice President - Chief Counsel for Mergers & Acquisitions and General Counsel for Europe and Russia/CIS. Prior to that, Michael was Assistant General Counsel at Capital One Financial Corporation and held attorney roles at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Hale and Dorr LLP, and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Michael earned a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BA in Political Science and History from Rutgers University.
