Michael Tan

Michael Tan, CFA, FRM, currently serves as the Head of Operations and Finance for Science and Technology Innovation at Danaher Corporation, a position held since January 2019, after progressing through roles including Senior Program Manager and Program Manager at the Danaher Innovation Center, where responsibilities included investment portfolio management and corporate venture capital fund oversight. Prior to Danaher, Michael worked as a Market Analyst at SCIEX and held several positions at The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (CDS), focusing on financial risk management and corporate actions. Michael began a career in finance as an Analyst at Yicko Securities, specializing in proprietary trading and equity research. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Finance with a major in Economics from the University of Toronto.
