Dance Alabama! is a student-led organization, part of a national non-profit, dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment through fully student-produced dance performance opportunities. We aim to empower students to grow their creativity, performance artistry, and leadership skills while building meaningful connections through a shared love of dance.

Each year, Dance Alabama! produces and directs three major student-run productions: the Fall Dance Concert, the Spring Dance Concert, and the #SickMoves Dance Concert. From choreography and rehearsal to production, marketing, and execution, these performances are created entirely by students, offering hands-on experience both on and off the stage.

In addition to performances, we provide members with opportunities to participate in masterclasses, dance jams, and workshops, allowing students of all backgrounds to continue developing their skills. Dance Alabama! also emphasizes community outreach and service, using dance as a platform to give back and engage with the Tuscaloosa community.

Through an extensive network of alumni, professionals, and campus partners, Dance Alabama! connects students with valuable mentorship and opportunities that extend beyond their time at the University of Alabama.
